![]() ![]() To get the Group button back, move the shape, picture, or object to another location on your slide outside of the placeholder text, or remove the placeholder from the things you want to group. Use a lighter or transparent background image to highlight elements (text, icons, other images, etc.) in the foreground. For instance, to select the title and image in the slide shown below, click either. Press Delete/Backspace to delete the unneeded. But the shapes cannot be grouped with the placeholder text.
